Sara turned 2 Years Old today. All the photos and videos from the day are here.

Two years ago Sara was born at 1:18 PM. She weighed 9 lbs, 9 oz and was 21.7 inches long.

One year ago she walked for the first time.

Today, she started her birthday off with a big pancake breakfast,

opened her first present (Dora Backpack),

met Dora,

had a fun birthday brunch with Molly and family,

and had a great dinner party with family over at Grandma and Gramdpa Harpring’s house.

Big day for Sara today.  She went pee on her potty chair for the first time, she worked on reciting nursery rhymes, told telemarketers to “go away”, and she changed batteries in her Zhu Zhu (with Daddy’s help).  Select videos are below.  All photos and videos are here.

Daddy needed Sara’s help in dealing with telemarketers again.  Back before she could say any words her cry was very effective. But now Daddy is showing Sara how to tell them to “go away”.  I think the next time I’ll waste more of the telemarketers time and have Sara read her Dora book to them.

Sara loves her Dora book and has us continually reading it to her. She is even starting to memorize it.  Sara then pretends to read the book to us or her stuffed animals.  See the video below for an example.

Today Sara got to visit Lowry Zoo for the first time.  We met the Horaleks up there and Sara and Molly had a good time checking out the animals and riding on the tran ride.
